CGI ads in Dubai, built frame by frame.
Althea Growth makes realistic CGI ads in Dubai: product films, launch films for off plan projects, FOOH style social videos where something impossible appears in the city, and content for 3D LED billboards. We model and render in Blender, use AI video only where it holds up, and label every concept as CGI.
01 · What we make
Realistic CGI ads for the feed and the street
Product films where a bottle, a watch or a car is rendered so every edge and reflection is right. Launch films where an off plan tower assembles itself on its plot. Social videos in the FOOH style, short for fake out of home, where something impossible appears in a real city scene. And content for 3D LED screens that seems to leave the frame.
02 · Who it is for
Developers, hotels and luxury brands
Developers use CGI to show a project before it exists and to give a launch one image people share. Hotels and restaurants use it for an opening or a season. Fragrance, fashion, watch and car brands use it when a real shoot of the idea would be impossible or far too slow.
03 · FOOH
What a FOOH ad is, and why we label it
A FOOH video places a computer generated object in footage of a real street, so it looks as if it happened. It works because it is surprising. It also travels without context, and a clip that people believe is real can turn into a story about being misled.
So every FOOH concept we make is labelled as CGI in the caption, and we do not present a generated event as news or as something that happened. UAE advertising rules already ask that ads do not mislead.
04 · 3D billboards
Content for anamorphic 3D LED screens
The 3D effect on a corner LED screen comes from the content, not the screen. The film is rendered for that screen’s exact shape and pixel size and for the place most people stand when they look at it. We build the scene to the screen’s specification, test it in a preview of the real geometry, and deliver files in the format the operator asks for.
We make the content. The screen operator sells the slot and runs it, and we work with whichever operator you book.
05 · Samples
Six concept films we rendered
The six films on this page are our own CGI concepts, not client work. The first three are 3D billboard tests, each on a different building and screen. A perfume bottle seems to leave a corner LED screen when seen from one point on the street, and the illusion breaks as the camera moves aside. A platinum ring rises until its stone crosses the top of the frame. A red coupe drives out of a light tunnel on a wide screen above a mall podium at night.
Then an unbranded tower assembles itself on a landscape photograph at sunset, and the camera rises up the facade like a drone to the mark on the crown. A macro film of a platinum solitaire goes from a rack focus across the stone to the full ring on a marble plinth. The last shows a fictional sports coupe the way it is built in 3D, from wireframe to clay to the final red paint on a wet floor.
06 · How it is made
Rendered where it must be exact
Products, buildings and anything a buyer will compare with reality are modelled and rendered in Blender, so logos, proportions, reflections and shadows are right. AI video helps with sky, water, crowds and atmosphere, and we composite it shot by shot. Everything is cut, graded and finished in house.
07 · The steps
From idea to delivered files
A short brief sets the product, the channel and what must not be invented. We send two or three written concepts with a reference frame each, then a storyboard and a shot list for the one you choose. You approve a first animation pass before the final render, then receive the cuts for each channel or the screen files for the operator.
Questions, answered.
What is a CGI ad?
An ad where some or all of what you see is made in 3D software rather than filmed. It can be a product film rendered entirely in 3D, or a real city scene with a rendered object composited into it.
Is a FOOH ad allowed in the UAE?
A creative CGI ad is advertising like any other, and UAE rules ask that ads are not misleading. We label FOOH concepts as CGI and never present them as real events. Brands with a regulated product should also check their own sector rules.
Can you make content for a 3D billboard in Dubai?
Yes. Send us the screen specification from the operator, the size, shape and pixel map, and we render the film for that geometry. Booking the screen stays with you or your media agency.
CGI or AI video: which do we need?
CGI when the product or building has to be exactly right from every angle. AI video when the shot is atmosphere, landscape or motion. Most of our films use both, and the shot list marks which is which.
How long does a CGI ad take to make?
It depends on what must be modelled. A product we receive as a 3D file moves faster than one we model from photographs, and a city composite needs footage first. The timeline is fixed in the written proposal, with the review rounds in it.
What do you need from us to start?
Your product files or photographs, any 3D models or drawings you have, your brand guidelines and where the ad will run. For a billboard, the operator’s screen specification.
